Coaching is a professional partnership between a coach and a client, or team, that focuses on the present and the future to determine and achieve professional or personal goals.
Through this partnership, the coach facilitates a shift in focus from problems to opportunities and choices and brings about the realization that there are no challenges that cannot be solved from within.
The subject matter expert is YOU, the client. Your coach supports achievement of results by listening, contributing, observing, questioning and guiding. The primary objective is to focus and gain awareness of options / possibilities, leading to more effective decision making. Together we will create action plans which will allow you to connect your inner purpose and passion to outer goals and tasks in order to bring about extraordinary results.
The coaching process helps people get out of their own perspectives and create solutions that are extraordinary, and that last.
Coaches are bound by the Code of Ethics established by the
International Coach Federation.
This code defines the ethical guidelines and professional standards by which we conduct ourselves.
"A coach is respectful and protective of the vulnerability of each client, while constructively holding the client to a high standard of self-responsibility and accountability. The coach maintains objectivity and competence where he/she claims it and practices in the best interests of the client, the community and society."
| Confidentiality: Coaches respect the confidentiality of their client(s) information, except as otherwise authorized by their client(s), or as required by law. |
